Privacy Policy

The short version
- The free features of the Crispdown extension collect no document or telemetry data. Rendering and license verification stay on your device. A document can still load an image from a URL it references, just like any browser page.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers.
- The only time any personal data is processed is when you buy a Pro license — and that's limited to your email address and payment details handled by Paddle, plus the minimal records needed to issue and re-send your license key.
1. The extension (free features): zero data collection
Crispdown renders Markdown files on your computer. It does not upload, transmit, sync, or "phone home" your files, file names, usage statistics, or crash reports. There is no account system and no telemetry. If a document references an external image, the browser may request that image from its original host; Crispdown does not send the document to Crispdown servers. The extension's permissions (storage, active tab, scripting, clipboard write) are used to render documents, remember reading preferences locally, convert page content when you request it, and copy content when you ask.
License activation is also local: when you paste a license key, its cryptographic signature is verified on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere during activation.
2. This website
592059.xyz is a static website. It sets no cookies, embeds no analytics, and loads no third-party fonts, pixels, or trackers. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; Cloudflare may process standard technical data (such as IP addresses) transiently in server logs for security and delivery purposes, as any host does. I do not use these logs to identify or track visitors.
Two pages talk to third parties, only when you use them: the checkout (operated by Paddle, opened when you click a purchase button) and the license-resend form (protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots). Neither runs until you take that action.
3. When you buy a license: exactly what is processed
Here is the complete disclosure for the purchase and license-delivery flow:

You can request deletion, subject to records needed for refunds, chargebacks, fraud prevention, or tax obligations. Email delivery logs at Resend are short-lived operational records. |

4. Email
You only ever receive transactional email from Crispdown: your license key after purchase, a re-send when you request one, and personal replies to messages you send. There is no newsletter and no marketing email. License emails are sent from a real, replyable address.
5. Children
Crispdown is not directed at children under 16. The extension does not collect document telemetry; purchase data is processed only as described above.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date at the top. Since the extension collects nothing, changes would only ever concern the purchase flow.
